Eine Spezialausgabe der Fachzeitschrift «Biodiversity and Conservation» widmet sich dem Thema «Networking Biodiversity Knowledge». Die verschiedenen Fachpublikationen analysieren und diskutieren Möglichkeiten von Beratungsmechanismen und Wissenssynthesen, um die Erhaltung und Förderung der Biodiversität und von Ökosystemleistungen in Europa zu unterstützen.

Un numéro spécial du journal «Biodiversity and Conservation» se consacre au thème «Networking Biodiversity Knowledge». Les différents articles analysent et discutent les possibles mécanismes de consultation et de synthèse des connaissances permettant d’encourager la conservation et la promotion de la biodiversité et des services écosystémiques en Europe.


A Special Issue of «Biodiversity and Conservation» brings together nine papers that analyse the possibility of creating a biodiversity-consultation mechanism at EU level that activates knowledge holders and brings them together for targeted knowledge synthesis activities: the so-called Network of Knowledge. These papers showcase new ways of knowledge synthesis that have the potential to complement and strengthen existing ones across scales and sectors, thus supporting an improved management of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
